Asaad Ghareeb trained as an agricultural engineer. The deeper he went into understanding plants — their compounds, growing conditions, and interactions with soil and climate — the more clearly he saw their therapeutic potential. It was not a departure from his training. It was a natural continuation of it. Plant science and plant medicine follow the same logic; he simply followed the knowledge further.
Alongside his son Jaafar, he spent years treating patients across their community using only natural materials. What they documented together spans conditions that most would not associate with plant-based care: dermatological diseases, disorders of the stomach, liver, and intestines, kidney disease, hemiplegia, and conditions of the muscles and bones.
Asaad's focus went deeper still — into the treatment of serious conditions, and into writing. His body of work, all in Arabic, represents decades of careful clinical observation. Writings that have never been widely published. One day, we will bring them to broader audiences — in more than one language.

Jaafar Ghareeb
Physiotherapist · Chiropractor

Jaafar Ghareeb is a physiotherapist and chiropractor who built his clinical practice alongside his father — treating patients across their city and surrounding villages using only natural materials.
Together they documented cases spanning dermatological conditions, digestive and liver disorders, kidney disease, hemiplegia, and musculoskeletal conditions — achieved with cold-pressed oils, distilled plant waters, botanical infusions, and specialist massage techniques. Cases of complete recovery from conditions most practitioners would not approach without pharmaceuticals.
As his knowledge deepened, Jaafar moved into the formulation of natural cosmetics — applying the same understanding of plant compounds and their interaction with the body to skin, hair, and daily care. It is this bridge — between clinical treatment and everyday wellbeing — that defines every product Azara Natural makes.

I didn't enter this world looking for a business opportunity only — but to prove to people that real natural products are far more powerful than most think. In 2007, my father was told by his cardiologists that he had between 20 to 30 days to agree to open heart surgery, or face a critical and irreversible decline.
He started preparing for the surgery — taking pills for blood pressure and more. The side effects made him completely change his mind. I remember to this day the call he made to his doctor, telling him he wouldn't go through with the surgery. He wrote his will as a preparation, because he did not want to live on those kinds of pills. Then he started researching natural remedies.
He changed his diet completely, began incorporating high-quality unrefined cold-pressed oils into his daily life — grape seed, flaxseed, black seed, and others — and started exercising with more discipline than ever before, rebuilding his body slowly and deliberately. Today, at 74 years old, he lives a life most people in their 50s would envy. That changed everything I believed about the body, and about what mainstream medicine so often overlooks — even as all the medicines of the world trace their origins back to plants, flowers, and seeds. Everything came from nature.
With almost 15 years of experience across international sales, business development, and 6 years in digital marketing — working between the Levant and Europe — I spent years understanding how markets work and what it takes to bring something real into a crowded and often misleading space.
Azara Natural was meant to launch in 2013, right after I finished my studies — under a different format, a different name, a different country. A series of setbacks, and then the war in Syria, changed everything. We entered the market in 2025. Not the company my father and I had once imagined. But carrying exactly the same conviction: that plants, properly understood and properly prepared, can do remarkable things for the human body.
Cold-pressed & macerated oils
Unrefined. Full phytochemical profile intact. Never heat-treated above 45°C.
Distilled plant waters
Hydrosols from herbs and flowers, steam-distilled the traditional way. No chemicals, no shortcuts.
Plant infusion blends
Slow-infused botanical extracts. Time and natural warmth drawing out what industrial methods never reach.
Water vaporization
Used in combination with specialist massage techniques in some treatment protocols.
Most botanical oils on the market are diluted or refined. Many people also confuse natural oils with essential oils — they are not the same thing. Essential oils are not bad; they serve a purpose, primarily in aromatherapy. But the extraction process destroys key active compounds at the molecular level. And with essential oils, authenticity is rarely guaranteed unless you are buying from a very well-known company.
01
Cold Pressing
Traditional piston and screw press, never exceeding 45°C. Full spectrum of nutrients, aroma, and therapeutic power retained in every drop.
02
Maceration
Hand-selected herbs infused into carrier oils for a minimum of 8 weeks. Slow, artisanal — and irreplaceable by any industrial shortcut.
03
Steam Distillation
Age-old technique for our hydrosols and tonics. Delicate plant properties preserved without chemicals or excessive heat.

Our story begins in the lands of Hama and Lattakia, Syria — where fertile soil and ancestral wisdom meet. Our production has carried forward the tradition of crafting therapeutic blends from herbs and natural oils — a practice once called medicine, now called alternative medicine.
Many of our plants and flowers are wildcrafted — growing naturally, untouched by cultivation, gathered across Syrian zones by farming families who have worked the same land for generations. Each ingredient selected not just for purity, but for deep therapeutic value. You just need to touch it to know the real meaning of a natural product.
Close to the land.
Close to the people it serves.
Source
Organic agriculture and wild herbs harvested across Syrian growing zones. No intermediaries, ever.
Production
Our artisan workshop in Syria controls the full chain — raw material sourcing, extraction, production, bottling — under one roof.
Zero waste (in progress)
Seed husks currently discarded will become a livestock feed line — moving our workshop toward near-zero waste.
Our conviction
Sustainability isn't a marketing label here. It's a logical extension of how this knowledge has always lived.
From the seeds to you.
